Morta's 3 birthday!

Morta is 3 years old today. She joined our pack almost three years ago. She brought into ours human-dog family lots of joy, play and positive energy. One could see, that wolfdog doesn't have to be woolfy in character. Morta was focused on humans from the very beginning and prefered to spend her time with people then another dog. She also proved that wolfdogs may be great in mushing and skijoring. This little girl has got ideal conditions and great passion to this kind of sport. She loves to be "the first". Today, on her birthday, after a dogwalk, she will get a huge bone, cause eating is her second, or even first, great passion :-)) All the best to you, my little Mortka!

Last week was full of visitors. First came pupp's older brother - Liskamm Lupusek. They surely scared Liskamm a bit. He looked quite confused facing the three, little piranhas. Here are some pictures of this meeting:

Then, on Tuesday, puppies met Jan - 7 years old boy, who came to us for winter holidays. Jan, John in english, trained puppies in tracking! It was full of joy for everyone - although the kid and pupps. They played a lot with each others. Here are some pics:

What does the names mean?

Last sunday the pupps got their names. All of them mean something:

URUK HAI - comes from the name of nasty, scary ocrs from the fantasy novel "Lord of the Rings".

URIT - is a Hebrew female name, means light, fire, brightness.

ULVAR - is for the old skndinavian word Ulv, that means wolf.

I would like to thank all friends, who via Facebook suggested many great names and helped choose the best ones!

A new video of CSV babies - "U" puppies!

They look different every day now. Growing really fast. Weight extra 80-90 grams every day!

So, time is running quickly. Pupps are two weeks old! They've opened their eyes, but still don't see precisely. Their ears starting to open too. Their favorite activity is eating and sleeping (it hasn't change since being born).
It's high time to show you, how they grew up till now. I've taken some pictures and a short movie.

So, our pupps are 7 days old! They are fine, growing while sleeping and sleeping when not eating :-)

Today is Cayo's birthday!!! She's 6 years old and for me these are 6 lovely years with her!!!

Cayo, I wish you everything what you can dream of: always a bowl full of chicken, plenty of beef stones, everyday long walks, winnings in dog+leader sport competitions (dogtrekking, skijoring, cannicrossing), many pretty and healthy children, dogs and human satisfying company, loving pack, health and courage, and many more years with each other!

Puppies have been born!!!

Yesterday, on the 29th of December 2010, Cayo has given birth to three pupps: two boys and one girl! All of them feel all right and seem to be happy :-)

Congratulations for the father and his owner, Aivaras - these are first Milo's children!!!
